Bicentennial merchandise available
A collection of merchandise has been produced that will allow citizens to commemorate this special year in Miamisburg. Keepsakes are available for purchase at the Market Square Building downtown on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12 to 4 p.m. Items also will be for sale at many of the events throughout the year.
Products include a specially produced video on the history of Miamisburg entitled “The River Runs Through.” The video premiered at February’s Founders Day Dinner, and DVDs are available for order. Producers include Carol O’Connell, Gary Petticrew, Kevin Scheuller, Bobbye Sweny, John Warrington and numerous other support personnel.
Another item sure to be popular is a Miamisburg-Opoly board game fashioned after the popular Monopoly game. In this local version, players move their tokens along a route that features Miamisburg landmarks and points of interest. The initial supply of games sold out quickly, but more are being produced and orders are being accepted.
